Minimum Hours for a PPL

An applicant for an EASA PPL (aeroplanes) must have completed the minimum of:

45 hours of flight instruction in aeroplanes

25 hours of dual flight instruction. (Flight time as student pilot-in-command - SPIC.)

10 hours of supervised solo (including 5 hours solo cross country covering at least 150 NM and incorporating 2 landings away from the home airfield.)
