Class 2 medical certificates shall be valid for a period of:
- (i) 60 months until the licence holder reaches the age of 40.
- (ii) 24 months between the age of 40 and 50.
- (iii) 12 months after the age of 50.

PPL Students must obtain at least a Class 2 Medical Certificate before their first solo flight.
