Billins Air Services are based at Cranfield Airport, five minutes from junctions 13 or 14 on the M1. They operate two four-seater light aircraft and offer training for the Private Pilots Licence (PPL) or National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL), as well as Night Rating, instrument and Twin Engine ratings.
Billins Air Services offers trial lessons, which are a great way to see if you want to pursue flying as either a career or a hobby. You will be introduced to the basic controls of a Cessna 172 and you'll be able to fly the aircraft as much (or as little) as you wish. The time flown on a trial lesson also counts towards the minimum hours required to obtain a PPL.
