Almat Aviation provides everything you need to achieve your Private Pilots Licence – and more – from a base at Coventry Airport. On top of their commitment to flying training they run a unique ground school programme continuously from September to July.
As they are located near larger airports at Birmingham, East Midlands and Luton we are able to teach our students in an environment with multiple frequencies, locator beacons, Instrument Landing Systems and Distance Measuring Equipment. The advantage of Coventry Airport is that a student can learn all of these procedures and techniques without the intense traffic of a larger airport.
Beyond the PPL, Almat Aviation are able to train in Night Rating as Coventry is open until 1:00am – meaning training can continue during the hours of darkness, even in summer.
