We are a non-profit making company run by volunteers for the benefit of the club and operate from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport (EGPK). Our aim is not to line our pockets, but to provide and develop competent and skilled pilots within a fun environment for general aviation flying at a cost effective price. Come and see for yourself - you won't be disappointed, and you'll be hard pushed to find a friendlier environment.
Where do I begin?
Our higly qualified instructors can offer fixed wing flying training courses for PPL, NPPL, IMC, Night Qualification, Aerobatics and Tail Wheel Conversions, as well as JAR PPL and CAA IMC Ground Examinations. Our instructors don't wear black ties and gold braid - they want you to be relaxed when you fly! They won't beat about the bush either!
Our instructors pride themselves with being direct - you know, calling a spade a spade, because let's face it - you want the best training money can buy. Don't be fooled by "cheap flying abroad". If we train you in the right techniques from the start, you'll be a better, confident and more competent pilot. If you're planning on going 'commercial' we'll probably also save you a lot of money in the long run, avoiding expensive retraining due to poor or incorrect technique!
For those who are new to aviation, and want to find out if learning to fly is for them, our instructors can offer a trial lesson (Air Experience Flight) that will count towards a license.
